Who We Play For Supports Heart Month
In honor of February being American Heart Month, Who We Play For is launching the “Mission from the Heart” campaign, inviting individuals, families, and organizations to participate in heart screenings, fundraising, and spreading awareness to prevent sudden cardiac arrest.
Did you know that 1 in 300 youth has a undetected heart condition? Each year, more than 23,000 youth experience sudden cardiac arrest outside of a hospital. It is our mission to eliminate preventable sudden cardiac death in the young through affordable heart screenings, AEDs and working with communities to honor every kid who never had the opportunity.
All donations to Who We Play For goes directly to life-saving heart screenings, AED placements, research, and more to help eliminate sudden cardiac death in the young. For every $20 donated, we are able to provide 1 heart screening to a student. For every $6,000 donated, we are able to save a life. Every contribution makes a difference!
